Yolo was nominated by the Elkhart Chamber of Commerce to be a part of the inaugural Tolson Center for community Excellence board. In her role as chair of the board committee related to Buildings and ParkDesign, she has shown great leadership and care for the people and tasks assigned to them. The work of starting a board and committees from scratch has been challenging yet Yolo has been persistent in following up on assigned tasks and showing up to meetings.
